An introductory price answers what one part of a program costs. It does not necessarily describe the next payment, the ongoing billing interval, or the total commitment attached to the selected plan.
Before comparing providers, write the first charge and the next charge on separate lines. Keep any eligibility restriction or enrollment pause beside those figures so the budget describes an offer you can actually investigate.

Start with a current example
The Pallas product page lists $139 for the first month, then $597 every 12 weeks under its displayed offer. That makes the renewal both a different amount and a different period from the introductory headline.
Ask when the introductory period begins and which event sets the first renewal date. Do not assume the date you first visited the website is the date used for billing. Our Pallas review covers the associated eligibility and cancellation questions.
Put the conditions in the same note
Record the chosen plan name, initial amount, renewal amount, renewal interval, and any separate required charges. If the provider has not confirmed an item, mark it as unresolved. A guessed zero can make two offers appear more comparable than they are.
Then ask how to stop future renewal and whether any part of the current cycle is refundable. Pallas's refund policy illustrates why cancellation before prescribing and cancellation afterward can have different consequences. Confirm the rules for the specific purchase.
Check whether the offer is still open
The Promise page now shows a waitlist during a prescriber-network transition, even though indexed results retain earlier pricing. Our Promise review therefore leaves the current purchase price unverified.
A promotion copied into a comparison spreadsheet should have a source and check date. Reopen the live page before enrolling, especially if an advertisement, search result, and current site describe different arrangements.
Compare the same time basis
A 12-week charge, a calendar-month subscription, and a prepaid package are not identical billing schedules. The billing-interval guide helps separate them without changing the prescribed treatment to fit a budget.
If the ongoing expense is difficult to manage, discuss it before purchasing. A low introductory amount should not pressure you into a clinical or financial commitment whose later terms you do not understand.
